ok guys I know there's more folks than this in this chapter, let get up with some of the other guys and let them know about the gtg we're planning. I know for a fact this chapter has well over 150 members so we could possibly have one hell of a party.

It will be March before we know it. Maybe we should start tossing some dates around. I'm sure others will start to chime in once some plans start to form.

So far haven't seen any folks from way out west speak up. Seems to be mostly piedmont and coastal folks that are interested at this point. That might make a central location easier to determine. Should try to make it so that no one has to drive more then two-ish hours.

Just some suggestions. I'll keep checking in. Ya'll have a good week.

Im still in, just waitin too see what works best for everyone, and hoping some more come around. No offense but I dont want to drive 2-3 hours to meet up with 3 people lol

in the past we have all gotten together for the foodlion autofair in the spring. It's a thought but it's up to you guys. the last time we did this we all made a day out of the car show/ swap meet then we all met at my place for a cook out and a BS session. I would'nt be opposed to this again but I'll need to know in time to make plans for it. I live in Kannapolis which is centraly located and about 15 minutes from Lowes motor speedway where the autofair is held. you guys let me know. the autofair is generally around the second week of April.....

 

Kannapolis is about a 4 hour drive for me. Not sure if I could swing that...

 

this is exactly what I'm speaking of! I realize we can't please everybody but you guys aren't helping me with a location .I've left it up to the members of this chapter to come up with a location and a date in a democratic manner and everybody just says where they live. I know where all of you live but we need to get a central location or have two seperate sub chapter meets. my house is 3.5 hours from the mountains and 4 hours from the coast so going more than 20 or 30 miles in either direction is going to cause a bunch of whineing. I say if it can't be figured out in the next week or so we just plan two meets and forget about it. I am going to send a PM to every NCFTE member over the next few days to see if we can get more folks here to offer an opinion.
