show off your dentside pre-runners

If I remember right it's on a longbed or supercab frame. The cab is stock, just the bed is shortened.
Also - just in case someone comes across this thread and not the other - here's a link to another thread where LongTravelHighboy hosted a bunch of prerunner (both dentside and bumpside) pics I sent him.

176 is not a typo, yes it will be hell to park but I enjoy a long wheelbase for towing and I haul a lot so a short box is unrealistic for me.
When I either buy or build the lift I'm going to the forward double swinger steering and will be modifying things for as tight a turning radius as I can get.
My main reason I'll be going with Autofab or building something similar is for suspension and steering geometry and with different valving than a prerunner I want a better ride.

People could be sending these trucks to the crusher to pay for parts on a newer import rig.
My current crew cab is going the Pre-runner route and the next one will be dragging the frame rails on the pavement, while everyone else is paying 3 times as much for 4x4s or converting them I'll have fun with 2wds.

There are definitely some economical alternatives out there for dimple dies now-a-days. 15 or so years ago when I bought my 1st set there was only 1, maybe 2 custom race shops making them. Curt LeDuc was the only 1 I remember. I had a set of his for years til I found a deal on a "used" set of JMRs about 5-6 years ago. Both sets were very expensive, but will last as they are 4340 heat treated or stainless. For guys who don't fab every day & just use them from time to time on personal projects there are heat treated 1018 steel versions that cost quite a bit less.
