First drive! Edelbrock F-150 supercharged
Holy smoley!
Spent some time driving Edelbrock e-force supercharged 5.4 prototype.
Amazing driveability, instant response, quiet, smooth, with just enough added grunt to move a heavy load when needed. Keep foot out of it (hard to do) and expect stock mpg. Absolutely factory looking install.
I want one. Bad.

What is the RWHP and RWTQ with the unit?
Do they need more test mule trucks? (mine)

I am watching this and will probably save up money over the next year to purchase a kit. What I would like to know are:
1-Can the 5.4 still use E85 with the S/C kit?
1a-If it can, did they re-map the fuel curve for E85?
3- Did they alter the transmission shifting parameters to take advantage of more lower end torque? Maybe hold a gear a little more before deciding to downshift?
4-can you order spare water pumps for the liquid to air intercooler?
5-why do you need the oil filter relocation kit for a 4x4?
6-does it still use the factor stock air box (or similar)? I want to avoid any cotton gauze filter setup as much as possible
Other than that, I'm excited to hear your thoughts on how awesome the kit is. It's far cheaper than attempting to swap a 3.5 ecoboost (I mean you have the engine, harnesses, and electric power steering to swap!)

Hi,
What brand and where can the superchareger kit be purchased? I have a 2010 Ford F150 with 5.4 flex fuel and very interested in a supercharger or turbo kit.
My truck has a 6" lift with 35" tires, crew cab Tuscany Package. Just got a company work truck and making this truck my toy.
Info much appreciated.

I had the same problem. Tried chasing down a vibration for months. It ended up being that I needed to replace the ujoint straps ($7 from oriely's). The ujoint was loose enough to allow the drive shaft to move 1/8th inch I either direction. Anyway, I replaced the straps and no more vibration.

If your truck is a 2012, then the supercharger wouldn't work for you anyways. It's for a 5.4 V8. The last year the 5.4 was offered in an F-series truck was 2010. But was continued in the E-series vans, Expeditions, and Navigators until 2014.
