Hello, new to this forum and looking for opinions. I have 1 2002 F150with 39000 miles that I am having trouble with the ABS system. Have hooked up 3 scanners including one at Ford dealer and the codes C1229 and C1230 keep showing up . Three different rear speed sensors have been installed including one at Ford dealer and the light still comes back on. Dealer run a Pinpoint diagnostic test and said it pointed to the ABS module. The two codes reference rear speed sensor circuit failure and coherency fault.
Before I spend $500.00 + for an ABS module I would like to get some input from you guys.
