I gave them a shout this morning and talked to one of the guys over there. Justin was out and was to call me back early afternoon. I didn't hear from him so ill give him a call back tomorrow and see what we can do. Dyno tune and handheld is a bit more than I hoped. I pray he can sort it out and make things right. Thanks for all your help cory. Ill post as I have more news.

Sounds good, they can pull the entire OBDII graphs to read the complete CANBus system. It would really be whacked if is not even related to the basic fuel, timing, ignition systems and is something else sending the Puter to safe. Moisture for one can be a complete snafu. Good luck, bet it's something really Basic.

While Ford OEM didn't instal the "Roush" in your 4x2, I would make sure to have all the build specs you can get on your truck, like the PCM number, to possibly help the tuner. I'm really getting to the point of being sure that this is a basic snafu at build time in a shop somewhere. I would still do the basic stuff first, but that is just me. Seems like your going thru the same problems and possibly fix the EB needed from Ford service TSB's for the 2011 systems which in 2012 they changed the Intake sensors.

No it was not built in the roush factory, but a ford roush dealer did the install before I took delivery of the truck new in june of 0. That's the biggest frustration. FORD did this. Maybe I should have had it done elswewhere lol

I have a hunch Roush 4x4 instead of 4x2 is the culprit. It would be my thought. Maybe the build didn't let Roush know it was a 4x2, or the communication lost its meaning with them. These CANBus twisty wires go back thru the cluster communication center. I wonder if there is a code stored in the Cluster HEC test. If so the code may be for the trany.

Now that possibility makes sense. Because the majority of the problems I have is shifting issues. Would calling roush and them pulling up my file answer that question?

No. Justin can take care of that too since the ECM controls the trans.

Just tell Justin that Ironhand sent you. He knows who I am and will take good care of you.

Send me an email or try giving me a call again, i don't believe i have your number. I will be on the dyno a lot the rest of this week though.

I've done a few of these trucks recently with driveability problems, i believe it has to do with the VCT. One guys was also helped by removing the stock cats.

Ive informed you all of wrong info. My fault, Ive leardned a bit on how to use this OBD2 scanner Im borrowing. I just drove the truck around w/ it on and did a M/I scan. I came up w/ 0305, Cyl. 5 misfire, which seems to be the same cylinder that has always had misfires and been in 3 or 4 times under warranty for it and a 0446, Evap Emiss Cntrl System Vent Malf. As for this, I read on a quick google search that it can be thrown from a vacuum leak? I started my truck a few months ago and let off the key too soon and it didnt start, I turned the key again and it popped from what sounded like under the hood and wouldnt idle. I popped the hood and found a hose had came off the back side of the S/C'r. Put it back on and then when I got home put a zip tie on it as it was very loose and I didnt want it to happen again. Could this have caused that 0446 code?

Should I clear the codes out and run it hard to see if they come back, or just leave it alone.

Also I talked to Justin today at VMP. Im going to get it to him asap, but, I wanna make sure its in top shape before I take it, so want to get these codes taken care of.

Since you have hooked the vacuum hoses back up and clamped them. Driving it some will initiate the I/M tests again. It should rerun the evap tests in your I/M sensor tests within 30 miles with 1/2 tank of gas in weather between 65 degrees and 85 degrees. It may be fixed with the high vacuum back in place. I would also look around to see if there is more vacuum damage before the trip to Orlando. Also navigate your code reader menu to see if you can freeze frame ( you should be able to ) and graph pid's while running/driving the truck. Document your findings to check/reference later. You can't harm anything by navigating and recording. Some readers even let you download or print out the results on the home puter/laptop. Your trip to VMP is gonna take care of a programer issue with the trans/PCM snafu I' m betting. With the back fire, I would remove the air filter and look at it closely with a flashlight, or simply replace it since the backfire may have damaged it and you can't see it. Leaving the codes inplace is also good for VMT to see, as they may have more sofisticated scanning capabilities and you don't want them to come back 0 if they could have got something else instead. If this ends up an ugly programming issue a good lawyer should get you some satisfaction from the Dealer botched up instal. Good luck.
