Added a Ground wire and smoother idle
Recently installed some gauges and had a grounding issue under the dash. Well I ran a wire from the neg terminal to were my gauges were grounding and it fixed my jumping pyro. I started the baby up and believe that my idle had smoothed out a little bit.http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums...2/biglaugh.gif Is this possible or is it all in my head?http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums...2/blahblah.gif Anyone know were the body grounds are so I can clean them?

There are probable lots of them. I did check and the only one I could see on top of the engine compartment is a pretty good size flat grounding strap up that runs just below the MAP sensor then goes down behind the passenger head.
In this photo it is just to the right of the MAP sensor hose and is wrapped in tape.

don: I'm sure your right about the sensitivity of the pyro. It was the only gauge that wanted to jump before the jumper to the negative battery terminal.
Hussler: Thanks for the pic I didn't see that one, saw one over by the drivers side next to the hinge but knew there had to be others in "mysterious" places so thanks!
