Firend has a 98 F-150 with the six cylinder engine and is having some transmission issues (automatic).

I have a 2004 F-250 parts truck with the 5.4L V8 in it. Is the transmission for the 2004 F-250 interchangable with the transmission in the F-150. Wanted to know before we went to the trouble of pulling either one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
