Instrument panel voltage regulator for a '78 Ranchero

Hi all,
I usually lurk around in the old F-100 forums, but I had a friend ask me for some help since he knows I mess around w/ old Ford trucks...He's working on a '78 Ranchero and is looking for an instrument panel voltage regulator or one that would be compatible with that model...Anyone have any ideas?...Thanks...

No big deal. Ford used the same one for years. Just make sure it has the right electrical connectors. AutoZone, O'Reilly's or NAPA either has it or can get it.

They run $45-$50.

Thanks for the tip---I let him know...BTW, i had a '63 Falcon club wagon a few years ago---a three seater...Nobody believed it was a Falcon 'til I showed them the script on the rear...Fun to drive, easy on gas, the young hippies loved it----why in the heck did I sell it??
