Rear seats In cargo Van?

Hello. I have a 95 stubby cargo van, can a rear bench seat be added as it looks like there no way to bolt it down, Local yard has a selection of aerostars and seats I have never seen a seat back there

You need to install the seat anchors into the floor. I haven't tried this before (never had the need), but check those wagons at your local scrap yard to see if the anchors canbe easily removed. Installing them in the van will require cutting, I'm sure.

Yes thats what i thought, like steel posts the seat locks on to. There were a couple of bench seats that looked like they just bolted to the floor, on mine there is Nothing doing there no holes nothing. I bought it for my magazine route looks like it will be used only for that. thanks for reply

i did it. easy to make. easy to weld in, but do all accuratly, measure distance between anchors on any passanger van, else they may not fit ore you will not put them to bed in long trip.

what will U do with windows and trim?

I was going to say the more critical one would be for the rear bench, since that can interfere with the wheel wells. On my van, the two sets of anchor wells are lined up, so that you can move either bench straight forward or back. The only peculiarity I found was that when I installed a set of seat-beds I got from a scrap yard, they have a 2" gap between them when folded down. This tells me that there may be some variation in fore-aft spacing between the wells. The seat-beds came out of a shorty, and mine is an extended van, so maybe they put the rear bench a couple inches further back.
