aftermarket oil pressure gauge pressure sensor location 390 FE

I'm planning on putting in an aftermarket oil pressure gauge in hopes of getting a true accurate reading. Where do you guys put the sensor? I would like to keep the stock gauge functioning as well so can I put a T in the top of the filter housing and have two sensors there or is there a "better" way?

That's the way to do it, for a temp. gauge you can tap into the fitting on your thermostat housing to run an aftermarket temp. gauge and still keep your factory gauge working, not that it's very accurate but i like to keep it working as well.

Just about any auto parts or hardware store will have them, even Home Depot and Lowe's will have them in the brass fittings section of the plumbing dept.
You're looking for 1/4 pipe thread fittings.
You'll probably need (1) 1/4mpt close nipple, (1) 1/4fpt "T", and maybe (1) 1/4X1/8 reducer bushing to hook up your mechanical gauge.

I'm going to get a custom cluster pan for my dash. Of course that would require you replace all the gauges with autometers
