Thinking of Line-X and have some questions...

I am wanting to have the bed of my SD done in black Linex, and was curious how much to expect to have this done? Anybody have any experiences with it good or bad?

I paid around $400 and seem pretty tough. I do like that water does not sit in the bed of the truck when parked on a slant.

That isn't bad. A friend of mine told me that Linex actually has a lifetime warranty where if it chips, fades, or gouges, even if it is your fault, they will redo it, is this true? What size bed do you have?

I paid $ 450.00 to have it put in my short bed about 4 years ago. It is very durable. No complaints.

I have had two trucks with it. Very good and yes warranteed. Around the 450 mark if I recall. Shop that did mine even removed all the bolts before spraying.

Hauled lots of concrete and dirt, motorcycles who know what no problems.

I have had all the same results with two different trucks. I prefer the harder surface of the Line-X over the soft rubbery Rhino. I'd recommend the Line-X all day long.

Call your local LineX dealer for a quote.

They matched the color real well for my truck, they even put the little metalflake in the batch making it sparkley

If you need a thicker spongy liner then go with Rhino but expect scratches and gouges over time.

LineX is my #1 recommendation to anyone for a durable bed liner.

LINE-X's nationwide lifetime warranty is for cracking, bubbling, of flaking.

Average price for standard LINE-X is about $450 for a short bed under the rails. You can step up to LINE-X Xtra for another $150 or so. Xtra won't fade, is more chemical resistant, and fortified with Kevlar (fibers are 5 times stronger than steel).

I've got my bed done in Line-X and love it. I'm going to have my rocker panels sprayed in the spring. I'm getting alot of stone chips + I want to prevent rust issues down the road. Lots of salt here in MI. Just need to decide on color, I keep going back and forth between black or a tan color. Any opinions?

Anyone have any experience with the Kevlar enforced Line-X? Was at a Line-X dealer the other day getting a quote and they were trying to sell this to me as well. Just wondering if it was worth the extra $120 they quoted me.

If you don't want it to fade, get Xtra. It's also easier to clean and is highly recommended for exterior areas, such as the rockers.
