Maybe 2011 will be better for Vermont. All I am going to do tonight is count stars. Enjoy the snow, I will need more picts, dt's gettin bad, haven't seen snow fall for too long. From what I have been hearing, we are stuck in this patter through this month.

when I was a kid Vermont was always the winter wonderland, I can't remember a time we went there without snow, except summer.

winter of 06 was actually worse. It was warmer with rain. that year we had 12+ the day before christmas. Christmas day it rained and just kept raining the whole season. I only put on 150 miles, if that, the whole season when I normally do 1500-2000. We only had 1 storm that was more then a couple of inches, that one was 7". This year just cold so most of what was left after the big rain is still here and getting used somewhat.

not sure if it's the cold or the weather pattern, but we have had a mild winter too.

Know what you mean!! When I was growing up, I can remember only one winter that was without much snow, if I were to guess I would say that was probably in the late 80's-early 90's?

Good evening everyone.

It has probably been slightly colder then normal here which is the problem. the cold is pushing or keeping the moisture south. Maybe in a week or so we might get some.

Good morning Ken and everyone else. Enjoy the snow down there, except you Ken because you hate it, but spring is only a couple of months away.

Must be Steve is snowed in, doesn't look like he is logged on yet.

So you put 4 inches? If so that doesn't make sense, southern vt is suppose to get 3-6 inches. Now if that was suppose to be 4 feet, then would be correct.

Ken, watch out for those brontasaurus feet over at the rock pile.
