Hey all, will the bellhouseing from a "3-std light duty" from a '56 f-100 bolt up exactly to a T-86? It is bolting up to a 223 I-6.

Picked it up in Turlock California earlier today. I am expecting certain things to go wrong...but I am still happy. I thought the bellhousing came with it, but apparently not. Once again, I'll deal with issues as I come across them, but until then, I just gotta get the truck started and on it's way back on the road.

there also appears to be no place to mount the clutch type thing.....hmmmm

I doubt I'll have a chance to even start planning it's installation within the next 3-4 months.

You do realize that's an OD trans, right? What size input shaft does it have? I'm sure you can get a BH that will bolt up to a 223.

Nice score, could you take a pic's of the front of that thing so I can see the bolt hole pattern? The clutch thingie is in the bellhousing adapter. In this picture the adapter could be a possiblity.

I will measure the input shaft. I think it is the same length as the trans I have installed now.

Yes, I know it's an OD.....that's why I bought it. Don't you remember my ridiculous thread about OD t-86's I made a few months back?

Thanks a lot, you guys.
