SuperCab Rear Seat Question
My E99 has the fold flat rear seat. What year did they start putting in the seats that flip up? Your input will be much appreciated.

Thanks Scott. That narrows it down quite a bit.
Maybe this is one of those "Early 99 Differences".
Anyone out there with a late 99 that has flip up seats?

I have to be honest, I prefer the early 99 style better!

It's great for dogs and groceries but in the passenger position not as comfortable for people.
The reason I asked about the years is a friend wants to put my style seat in his later model truck, for his dog.

Thanks for the observation. I wonder if this means the two different style rear seats are not interchangeable?

Thanks, but don't go through the trouble. I can check that out with a friend. But you are curious aren't you?
Edit : Don't let your dogs see the pic I posted.

I miss that about my E99... It was so much better for cargo, and dogs, and sleeping on if you are in the dog house...

Couldn't agree more with you Joe, makes it easier to load up tools and what not. My 01 had the fold ups and I hated that. I really like the 03+ crew cabs that had the seats that folded over I wish my crew cab did it would be nice to have more storage room.

I have the flip up's- '03 and like them, until you compare it w/ having more inside cargo space as this one, folding down is cool!, Good for the dog and the damn cat that cant handle long car rides....BLAH!
