what size glass pack?

ive been looking up glass packs for my truck. and im finding them in quite a few sizes. does this effect the sound quality? my truck has a pretty long MUFFLER on it, so im trying to decide if i should buy one thats about the same size(legnth) as my muffler. and i guess the reason i wanto do that is to have it easily mounted back up to the tail pipe. THanks

You could always get a shorter one and then a piece of the appropriate size pipe from autozone and cut it to length to make up the difference. That is if you wanted a shorter one so it would be louder.

Well this is my set up. Dual 18 inch Red Hots glasspacks. I've done what some people call popping them which mean i let my truck run and let them get hot and then shoved a water hose up both pipes. let it sit for a minute or two then cranked her up and shot all the water out. But in my opinion if you want a quality glasspack that will sound good. Get a Smithy's glasspack. You'll pay a little more but you'll be very happy with the result
