New blue CPS, truck dies randomly, P0603, P0344.
My '02 PSD has been dying randomly in reverse or at idle.
Things I've done to it so far are:
-changed oil
-new International blue CPS
-new fuel filter
-cleaned battery connections
-checked the wires on the steering column for chaffing
-checked the wires on the drivers side valve cover for chaffing
-OHM'd out plugs and injectors, though I may do this again just to be sure
Codes I am getting are P0603 and P0344. I bought the truck used and have no idea if it has a chip in it or not. I have heard that P0603 is an indicator of an aftermarket chip. If there is one, how can I tell? Do these things go bad?
