What makes my f250 an HD?

thats about what i have come to understand except i think the 150 has a different frame thats why you cant get it with crew cab long bed the 250LD i dont know if it was on the 1/2 ton frame or the bigger one

So will a dana 50 fit where a 44 is. As in my f150 has a 44 and i would like to put a 50 in because you can get them out of a junk yard with 4.10s. If its a beefy 44 then it should fit?

No
not worth it easy to put dana 44 solid axle.

Why Dana 50 require leaf spring so more work to make it.

my 95 F250 XL HD have 50 Dana it look beefy if you compare to F150 or Bronco.
