Hi fellow Nebraskans. I am 28 years old father of 4 (boy 6 girl 4 boy 2 and girl 4 months). I have a awesome wife (lets my buy truck parts and is supportive of all my endeavors). I have a great family & I live in the greatest state of America. I reside in Franklin County in a little town called Bloomington (Pop. 126). I am a Plumber by trade and I have been plumbing since I was 19. Outside of fixing up my old Ford trucks I enjoy football, hunting, fishing, boating, and shooting. I have a 88 Ford F-350 crew cab dully with a Banks supercharger. I have a 1965 Ford F-100 2wd muscle truck. I have a 1999 Ford Cargo van (my work van). I also have a Ford Aerostar AWD van (my wifes ride). I am 100 percent raised on the farm country boy. My 65 is my newest ride, its my second 65 and I am planning on making it fastest truck in Franklin County.

Welcome to the forum. Just love that style truck. Pratically grew up in them. Dad had a 64. Wish I had it back. if Im down in your neck off the woods I will pay you a visit, Nice to have another new member.
Thanks for posting up the pics, nice truck! I see you are south of Kearney. We have one of our members (gquinn8516) that is the manager of the NAPA's in Kearney and Minden, so if your needing parts, that would be the place to go!
Thanks for the welcome, I send one back from the mid-south border of Nebraska.

It might not be a rust free, fully restored, all original show winning truck...
But it is a tire burning, Chevy eating, haul-n @$$ truck..
I also really like the body style of the 61-66 Fords, those years are my favorite year of any trucks. I would have bought any 61-66 Ford but I was stoked to get a 65, it brings back old memories of my first 65.

Welcome to the site! That old 65 looks like my 65 that I drove for about 15 Years. Had to sell it when I bought the 69. Good group of people here - Nice to see we have a plumber in the group because there is a lot of Sh_t that rolls around this place!
