question about installing a Body lift

I have 1996 ford f-150 single cab and i ran into problems when installing a 3 inch body lift. I was wondering how do you take out the center body mount bolt on the passenger side. All it does is spin.

to keep from starting a new thread when installing these body lifts what are u doing about the bumpers?

i have seen the front bumpers sitting beloz the stone deflector and it looks bad *not good* and i just want to be able to fit some 33"s on my truck without having to cut the bumper *its 2wd*

and with 33"s i wont have to change the gears in the rear end...

i have seen pics of trucks that have that gap that looks like death on a cracker lol

and i have seen pics that it still looked stock but they say it has the lift on it

and yes x2 on what mstromni said hold it with a wrench

You have 3 choices with the bumper

1: Use a flat plate with 4 holes in it, raise bumper up. You will have to cut something, either the frame or the bumper, and since you don't want to cut, this is out.

2: Make a mount that moves the bumper both forward and up. you end up with a gap, but its because the bumper is forward an inch and a half, but no cutting required.

3: JUST space the bumper forward an inch. Don't do any body lifting.

So, if you don't want to cut anything, you have to move the bumper forward NO MATTER WHAT. If all you want to do is fit 33's, then just move the bumper forward with washers and longer bolts, and you will be fine.
