Question Anyone around the Greenville area? Need some info Please!

Howdy Texas! My bro and me are possibly entertaining the idea to move down that way. Heard some good things about the Greenville area pertaining to the job side of things. We are in the residential construction field and it just isn't cutting it around here.

The main things we're looking to find out is if it's a good area, how much it costs to rent/ buy a house and of course the job possibilities.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The economy in Texas is better than many parts of the country, but finding a good paying job is no guarantee. Oil/Gas or pipeline work pays well, but is also quick to lay off. High gas prices really hurt the residential home building market outside of major cities. I'd think long and hard before i packed up and moved to Greenville.
