Craigslist 4x4 unibody?
#2
This unibody is on craigslist. Did Ford even make a unibody 4x4? No. I bet it's a transplant.

It's something a previous owner put together. The EZ way to tell is: This 4WD truck has 2WD front fenders.
1961/65 F100/250 & 1966 F250 4WD's use different front fenders than 2WD's.
The 4WD fenders have a larger opening radius: 45" compared to the 2WD fenders that have a 36" opening radius.
When these trucks are converted to 4WD, they have to be lifted up for additional clearance.
1966 F100 4WD's use 2WD front fenders because these trucks were lifted at the factory.

[QUOTE=NumberDummy;8415004]NOT Genuine Ford.

Interesting observation. I guess I've never seen the wider openings. It seems like it would be hard to notice from the pictures posted.... not close enough for me. I'll have to try to find a true 4wd to compare.

Fits: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350 / 1966 F250 4WD.
Looking at the right or left side of the truck...compare the opening radius of the 2WD fenders to the 4WD/F350 fenders where they meet the doors.
The difference is very apparent.
