I can`t get too excited about this style of Mack though the R600/700`s weren`t too bad.

I hope Morris doesn't read this, but I've always been a fan of the old Mack B61. I just like the styling .

If I had Jay Leno's money I would have a restored Mack B61 in my stable, but also a Ford C700-800 from the late '50's/'60's/70's/early '80's.

Actually Mack used the same body as Ford did for this Cabover. The cabover body for both Ford and Mack was made by Budd Body and essentially was the same..

The Ford Cabover version lasted in production a lot longer then the Mack Cabover though.

ugh........ Mack R700, I just don't know how someone could like that styling over the classical styling of a B series.

I'm also a fan of the R series, also like the RM series.

Long production runs seem to be the case with successful trucks. Two of the longest production runs that I can think of , are the Ford Louisville and the Mack R series .

Holy Crap you the size of the mouse nest hanging from the roof!
I like the looks of that truck, Not to keen on the color of vomit green and Orange. I think it is a nice truck. But as in the other thread, I said money and time and too many projects. It may get only half done.

I think its a steal at 3 grand too. Although its not a tandem (that decreases the price) it does look in good shape, and is somewhat hard to find now.

I would be tempting but once again thinking since dad is pretty much giving me the Western Star I guess I'll just put the 3 grand into a box/hoist
