The rad in my truck is going, I have a leak and after inspection its seems that I will be needing to replace it sooner than later.
Anyone have a used triple core rad for a 1980 F150 4x4 with a 351 w?
Does anyone know where I can get a re-core done cheap ?,
Buy a new one cheap ?
I am in the Niagara Region and I am willing to travel to get it if need be.
Any advice info etc.. would be appreciated.
I was told that I can use coarse black pepper as a stop leak alternative, anybody ever hear of this trick, not sure I want to try it unless someone knows it actually works.
Thanks Chad I will give them a call today, The rad guy down the street form my buddys shop wanted $300 for doing a recore. I have the copper rows (3). I was hoping I could get one cheaper, I found them online for around $200 but theats without shipping !!!
