The rad in my truck is going, I have a leak and after inspection its seems that I will be needing to replace it sooner than later.
Anyone have a used triple core rad for a 1980 F150 4x4 with a 351 w?
Does anyone know where I can get a re-core done cheap ?,
Buy a new one cheap ?
I am in the Niagara Region and I am willing to travel to get it if need be.
Any advice info etc.. would be appreciated.
I was told that I can use coarse black pepper as a stop leak alternative, anybody ever hear of this trick, not sure I want to try it unless someone knows it actually works.
BTW, in the 80's trucks, not sure which year they started with, but many of them had aluminum rads instead of copper, and then it would have 2 fat rows, instead of 3 skinny rows like the copper.
