I'm stumped what E-brakes with a 9 inch in your F-1 did you use and how did you do it? What cables or sources? If you have pictures they're welcome.

What are you using for calipers , rotors & etc ? What yr. 9 " ? This may be the key as to if you can use existing e-brake cables .There is a certian GM caliper to use .

I have a '72 9" in my '49. I used the cables from the original rear end and hooked them up as they were originally. They fit right on the 9".

That's great. The retaining clips are missing, what do they look like?

My original cables were toast. I bought new ones - probably from Sacto Vintage Ford - it was 10 years ago and my memory is only good for 10 minutes most days............

E-brakes with 9"

Hi,

I have '68-'71 F-150 9" and I was able to use the original type '48-'52 e-brake cables just fine.
