Are our starters 24v or 12v?

Man, I think you may have set your self up on that one... That would be 12v. Our two batteries are connected parallel to "double" the amperage... not the voltage.

12v. The batts are in parallel, not series.

12 Volts system. ( 2, 12 v batteries in parallel =12Volt )

Thats what I though. Father in law says otherwize. Maybe his Dodge is 24v, but I bet its 12v as well. He sometimes talks out of his ****.

Chris you are probly rite on the money...He may think his cummins is 24 volts instead of 24 valves?

I guess my Mustang motor was only 4 volts.
