Off topic: ATTN: any HVAC techs

I am looking to find a HVAC installer/tech that can help their IL FTE chapter leader
I have a Lenox G50/Elite series furnace that has been kicking On and OFF
error code is FAULTY IGNITER
I have a 10 year parts and labor ext warranty from a local HVAC shop and want to confirm from someone knowledgeable to tell me if its a cheap fix or expensive.
thanks
bob

I'm not an HVAC tech, but had a similar problem. The tech cam in and cleared scale from a small vacuum hose leading to the heat chamber. He used a small allen wrench to "rod it out". Said that this was common on systems that have digital thermostats used to lower temp>2 degrees during the day. Said that scale develops due to moisture.

No problem since. Good Luck
