I topped up the coolant, only took be 24oz.

You should remove and inspect it. I was having vac issues and my reservoir looked fine but had small holes rusted on the underside where I couldn't see it. I "fixed" it with overlapping turns of electrical tape from one end to the other since it was still structurally sound. You can also replace it with a plastic one from a '96. Just be gentle with the lines when you take them off.

That juice looking can IS NOT the vacuum reservoir for the heating and A/C system.
The vacuum reservoir for the heating and A/C system is mounted on the side of the heater/ac box engine side.
The juice looking can is the vacuum reservoir for the emission system.

The vacuum reservoir for the heating and A/C system is called the vacuum tank is this diagram.
