Redesign and limited upgrade?

Two questions...I see the Explorer should have the redesign released at some point this year, but not the Expedition. Does this mean we will see a new Expedition sometime in 2011?

Also, it looks like the blacked-out headlights and color coordinated grille that come with the Limited version are the same size as the XLT. I like them much better, if they are the same size, can I replace my headlights and grille with those from a Limited onto my XLT, or are they version specific?

no idea about the re-design time-line. Ford usually leads the F-150 redesign with the Expy & Exploder. The current F-150 is only 1.5 yrs into it's run...and Ford typically does a 4 yr run on each major design change.

I personally am betting that the 2011 Expy will have a few minor changes (4 yrs from 2007 debut), and the 2012 will be a full redesign. by then, the 09+ F-150 will be slightly older and Ford will be regearing to change the whole lineup

as for the interchange...yes, anything you see on a XLT/EB/Limited/KR can be swapped from one to the other quite easily. The electronics can be a pain, but they all will bolt right up.

just be careful when going from a normal length to a EL.
