When I bought the X it had a sticker on the inside of both 2nd door windows in the bottom front corner. Its a white background with a blue check mark, and below that it say's Whale. Since the X is Blue Everybody calls it the blue whale.The name stuck. I don't have any idea what the sticker signifies,but I left them on. Some names just seem seem to fit I guess. I never named a vehicle before,but I do refer to it as the whale on occasions.

 

My son's friends named mine "The Beast", now my my friends and family do also...

 

All my friends call it the short bus......good thing it is black!!

 

the check mark is the NIKE logo.

 

My daughter named ours The Limo and that has stuck. In fact whenever there is a school dance I end up taking all of her friends, pulling up in front of the school unloading all the girls sure gets the looks.

 

It is funny how names come about. My kids just gave mine a new name after I put the Buckstop bumpers on. Zombie Crusher.

 

My wife names all our vehicles. She calls the X "Tiny".

A lady at my church keeps calling ours the Land Yacht....but that name as we all know, is taken.

Big Red works well for ours.

That's cool.... everyone calls my truck Big Red. My old Ranger (click the link in my sig) was called Ol' Red.

 

I made the comment, just after I bought it, that it was like driving your living room down the road. That name has stuck. My X is now "The Living Room". Going shopping? Just take the Living Room. Need to pull something? Use the Living Room.

LOL! I down sized from a short bus, really, handicaped door and all, for towing and my former business stuff to an Excursion. She's simply "The X:.

 

Since mine is green and ugly, I have taken to calling it Godzilla.
