Hey everybody, what a great forum. We just bought on 02 Excursion and I am wanting to change the small paddle type mirrors to tow mirrors. Mine has power and heat only and I have removed the door panel and noted it has the square plug connector. Is it really possible to add on tow mirrors with the signal feature and not have to do any wiring? I removed the passenger side panel and if I recall correctly there were only four wires on the harness side of the connector. Did not pay attention to the mirror side. I guess it could be verified with a meter.......
I appreciate all the time everybody puts in to answering questions. This site was very helpful while we were making our selection. I learned so much of what to look for and what to expect.

Have a 2002 and destroyed the right hand mirror. Have been looking for a used OEM to replace it but have had no luck for about six months!!! Anyone have experience with a high quality aftermarket mirror or know of a used OEM? My aftermarket mirror experiences have been sad to say the least.
