Is it really possible to add on tow mirrors with the signal feature and not have to do any wiring? I removed the passenger side panel and if I recall correctly there were only four wires on the harness side of the connector. Did not pay attention to the mirror side. I guess it could be verified with a meter.......
I appreciate all the time everybody puts in to answering questions. This site was very helpful while we were making our selection. I learned so much of what to look for and what to expect.

I believe on the pre 03's you have to run a few wires for the blinkers, running lights to work. Maybe someone else can chime in though.

Have a 2002 and destroyed the right hand mirror. Have been looking for a used OEM to replace it but have had no luck for about six months!!! Anyone have experience with a high quality aftermarket mirror or know of a used OEM? My aftermarket mirror experiences have been sad to say the least.

car-part.com will be your friend. You can search clear across the country for used parts, and they always have mirrors.

Thanks Wallz, but I've been checking car-parts.com for almost the entire time and they have three new aftermarket listed and on pretty rough oem used and I don't think it's changed. I'll keep trying.

Are you looking at the whole super duty line up? They will all cross over.

No I was not. I was specifically looking at 02' Excursion because they came forward folding, power, heat, without turn signal. I'll try the whole line up. Thanks
