I'm Back :) Got a van, where's the intercooler??

Hey guys, Been gone for about 10 months when I did that bad Dmax thing from my old F250, no regrets though the Chebby is very nice..Anyways, I just picked up a 02' E350 Van for the biz w/ 116K on the ole' Stroke and as usual...runs like it's new. What's the story w/ no intercooler in the Van's? This has gotta kill performance I would imagine so what's the fix? Somebody has to have a cooler for these things. Any other diff's I need to know about? Everything else appears the same..Good to have another 7.3 in my driveway...I missed the rattle

No intercoolers on vans, instead they use a larger turbine housing to "make up" for the difference the intercooler adds for performance, its a side-step in performance upgrade for a stockish truck

It's referred to as a Van Turbo. Bigger housing and no need to upgrade tor a WW in one.

Not necessarily, Chris. I surged a bit at WOT with my van turbo & stock wheel. Ported housing does a hell of a job though. Especially with larger injectors you'll need one or the other...

Ha, I meant to say "except for those of you who are pushing the edge all the time!"
