Old Ford Dealerships
#3
I recognized the first one, Al Packer Ford. It was in that same location up until about three or four years ago, when it moved to a huge auto-mall type building in White Marsh, MD. In that glass showroom right next to the front window, was a rocking chair with an old lady in it. She was "Granny Packer". Every time we'd go by, we'd look and see if "she" was there.

Really cool slide show. Rockland Ford and Casco Bay Motors, both from Maine were recognizable to me.
I love the nastalgic store fronts and the old "A1" used car signs that were a Ford used car lot signature back in the day.
Ford dealerhsips have evolved from a simple mom and pop small town garage to a superstore or a Ford mecca if you will.
