need a ball park figure for wieght
so i was wondering if someone could help me out on some weights. I have a 59 f100 that i have converted to 4wd using 63 axles and a 61 frame. im putting a flatbed on it when i get it done so no bed. I was wondering if someone could give me a ball park figure of what the wieght on this truck would be just the cab/front clip, frame, and axles. no motor or trans and no bed. just so i can do some ballpark figuring so i can make some dicissions. thanks guys.

You've got some research and a lot of math to do.
First google or search here for "1959 F-100 Curb Weight." Look for the cab only model.
Then, go to this site and find your engine weight and subtract it form the curb weight:
http://fixrambler.com/engineweightchart.txt
Then Google the transmission specs for the transmission you had and subtract that.
Then find the weight difference between you new frame and old with the new axels as compared to old.
But if you are looking for something ballpark, then the published curb weight of a 61 4x4 F-100 was 3950#. Subtract 385# for engine and 250# for transmission, clutch, transfere case and fluids. Then subtract 200# for bed. So, VERY ballpark is around 3115#
