Diners ,Drive inns and Dives Thread

OK I'm a huge fan of food. And the idea behind this thread is for us members to post up the great places we find to eat as we roam around our great state.
Post up the name and general location of those great eatery's or hole in the wall places so that the rest of us can have the same experience.

Go ahead and post up places that are outside of Nevada as well...I stopped in this little cafe in Olancha Ca on 395.French cafe in the middle of nowhere..food was excellent. My daughter wants to go back.

In Fallon I'm going to say Jacks Place for there Burgers.Jacks is located in downtown Fallon on E.center st.

I love that show! Makes me hungry watching that channel for very long.

Well, since I am currently here, Juanberto's in San Diego, CA (about a block from the main entrance to MCAS Miramar) makes some awesome carne asada fries.

I got the best chicken-fried steak I've ever had at Ormachea's in Winnemucca....that thing was so big it was falling over the edge of the plate.

Steve,
We never ate in there, & I lived in Winnemucca for a year. I heard the food was good just never made it. The Model T has a good $3.99 steak & eggs anytime of the day. Or it did the last time we were there last summer. Winnemucca's best is the Martin House hands down.

Fist time I ever went to a Basque restaurant was in Reno. The food was great. The super social seating was cool. I had never seen anything like that before. I have no idea what the name of the place was.

The Martin House in Winnemucca is great Basque Food. I understand the Overland Hotel in Fallon is suppose to be good. Jack's Bar & Grill in Fallon has great burgers & Hot Pastrami.

Yes, the Overland is also basque style dining. Great way to meet people! They are having an "Under old management" BBQ this Saturday. The current owners defaulted so the old owner has taken it back over. She still runs the restaurant though, they use local beef, and have sweetbreads and rocky mountain oysters on the menu.

Here's one in Vegas I have to mention. Had Road Kill Grill cater our lunch today. Best BBQ I've had in Vegas. It's run by John Mull's Meat's, a local processor/butcher shop. I'm eating the leftovers from lunch now. Man, is it good!!

One of the best breakfast I have ever had was when I was passing through Ennis, Montana at the local apothecary that had a diner inside. They have something called Indian Flatbread (scone) that was awesome, never had anything close to it anywhere else.
