I did what you are trying to do. It's possible
Will have supercharger pics once I get it back from Whipple. Adding a longer snout. I found a 2008 whipple kit for $2000. The guy misspelled "Whiple. And no one bid on it . I got it with everything

Making that is really easy.

The problem is that the lightnings use a lower intake, then a mid-plate, and the blower bolts down on top of that.

I did something similar. Except I modded all the 4.6L DOHC Cobra stuff to fit on a built 5.4 DOHC. I crammed it all into an 03 Cobra

Everything that goes onto the front timing cover. It takes a good bit of work to get it right.

Well guys theres another KB kit for a V10 on ebay. I think he wants more for it than what it cost new though. Kenne Bell Supercharger - 1999-2004 Triton V10 | eBay
There is also a 99-04 KB 5.4 kit listed. This makes two of the 5.4 kits and 3 V10 kits I have seen in recent years........I've been looking for the TS-2000 D-271-5 kit for the EFI 460 for about 5 years now and havent even been able to make contact with a person whos actually laid eyes on one except for the guys at Kenne Bell..... I think If I had money to burn I would buy one of these kits My dad has a '01 V10 and my wife drives a '03 5.4. I keep telling myself that if I cant find the KB for the 460 then I'm going to call up Hellion or STS and get a custom turbo kit, but I figure soon as I do, one will pop up somewhere. By the way those are awesome pics posted above.

Ironhand did you read this post. How is it so easy? Please share. Bolting a v8 intake on a v10. I can not find an easy way.

Of course I read it.

I consider it easy. Im used to fabrication and have dealt with extensive modification. What I consider easy might be quite hard for others. I can visualize a finished product and come up with very creative problem solving. It's just what I do.

Also, your cant just bolt it on obviously but you can modify something to work quite easily. The majority of the intake is already there. Not that hard to add another cylinder to the intake by cutting and welding another lower intake to it.

Granted I would've done it different but thats me.

Ok thanks for the input.

I think anyone that can come up with an affordable way to bolt a lighting charger to our v-10s can make some money.

until "we' see a finish product. no one will believe it. so talk and writting stuff on a site doesn't mean anything. Until I finish mine then I'll talk. I just put up what is possible.
