Nice restored '49 F-5 for sale

Don't know if any of you guys have seen this--a good example of what deep pockets can do! Ya gotta give em credit for a nice job...slim

Nice looking truck- has to be worth way more than the bidding is at right now -10 k wouldn't pay for the parts to restore any truck of that age to that kind of condition!

I already have more than that in mine in the purchase price + new wheels/tires and the rebuilt engine/trans!!

That one didn't even make it to the "Reserve"

No Ilya, those are WMs. When you look at the back wheels you see the wide silver "side ring" that's the sign of a WM. Actually, when new those side rings were I think galvanized and left unpainted. The ones I've pulled apart still had the galvanized look to them. Here's a pic of one I pulled apart, and an original factory promotional picture that shows it. You can see it on the inside of the right front wheel too. Stu
