Got this new Ruger and put some Elk grips on her. I bought it for back-up bowhunting elk. I pretty sure you heard about the missing elk hunter from Santa Fe this year. I came in a week after him and unknowingly camped 1/4 mile from where he went missing. Any others want to post pics of your favorite revolver(s)? This is my first.

Nice .44 man. I shot a Super Redhawk .44mag a couple weeks ago. They handle real nice. Sure wish it was mine! My buddy's had the long barrel - 8in or somewhere around there - and rubber grips. I have a Ruger Security 6 .357, blue, 6in I got in 1978. Sucker has always run great. I'm guesstimating it has 10,000+ rounds thru it.
The MkII is a bit of a PITA to get apart but I love the one I have also. Stainless - 6 7/8 slabside govt target model.
