You need the WheelBase of a ShortBed StyleSide CrewCab?
(If it exist, I will try and get those for you...)

I doubt it i dont think he would have took it off a crew frame and put it on a regular cab frame if it was already 4wd

You wouldnt happen to be the guy that emailed me about the crew on a supercab would you?

None the less i can help ouy here. The Wheelbase on that truck is 133" same as a regular cab longbed. The crewcab longbed wheelbase is 167" and the crewcab shortbed wheelbase is 150". So it you have a shortbed you need to cut 17" out of the bed and if you have a longbed you need to cut 34" out of the bed. Make a cut about 2" from the front of the bed then cut out what is need and weld the front of the bed back on. Thats what im doing to mine. Here is a better side shot of a crew done the same way. Just not a high quality job.

These are the 1976 factory specs...

Shortbed Crew Cab...
F-250 Crew Cabs had a wheelbase of 150" with 6.5' beds, the same short bed as any other pickup of the line.

Long Bed Crew Cab...
F-350 Crew Cabs had a wheelbase of 166.5" with 8' beds, the same long bed as any othe pickup of the line.

hope this helps

I think they are the same size but the grey one had the fenders trimmed to fit the larger tires

You can see the front fenders have been trimmed, so I would agree with your hypothesis.

EDIT:

Still that white/grey one does look shorter I have to admit.

I used a supercab longbed frame on mine. I took 12" out of the front of the bed. It looks like it will turn out good.
