Follow the top radiator hose to the engine. That is where the t-stat is. Remove the air cleaner and top radiator hose. Remove 2 ten mm nuts and pry pressure sensor bracket off of studs. It is tight but will move. Remove 2 more ten mm nuts and the t-stat and t-stat housing lifts off of the studs. Use a new O ring when re-installing. about 5 bucks at dealer. This is for a 6.0 but I think they would be the same.

changing the thermostats really is not that difficult of a job. Many try to make it much more complicated than it needs to be. To access it the easiest way possible, remove the driver side battery, the degas bottle with the battery tray and you have nearly direct access to the tstat fasteners. once the clamp plate is loose, turn the top slightly to the front of the engine to pass over the hump in the housing and it comes right off. Then simply pop the housing off, replace the tstats and seals and reassemble. You do not need to loosen or remove the EGR cooler or loosen the radiator and support.... none of that pain in the backside stuff.
