Tonneau Cover

After an on line adventure with help and guidance from others on this site, I found a tonneau cover that is supposed to be just for 61-66 F100 trucks. EXTANG Black Max (part #2335) is supposed to fit "like a glove ( hopefully not like OJ's). I should be getting one i the next several weeks and will post the results.

I have also been looking around for options for a step side bed style. The only thing I have found so far is the velcro attached model in the LMC catalog. Has anyone ever seen that one in action?

BAK Industries can custom make you a bakflip tonneau cover for your F100. It's flush, tough and will make your rig look like a million bucks! see them at Truck Bed Covers : Folding Tonneau Cover : Bakflip HD : Hard Tonneau : Tri Fold Tonneau Covers for Trucks : BakLiner.com or call them at (818) 365-9000. Ask to speak with Ivan or Julian and tell them you want a custom BakFlip. It'll cost you about $800 but it's totally worth it. I've seen one made for a 1960 something international scout, so your truck will be no problem.

I have owned 3 Extang Tonneaus, and they all fit like a glove. Please post pictures when you get it. I plan on ordering a Full Tilt for my 1966 F-100.

I put an Extang FullTilt designed for a 1979 F100 on my '66. It fits perfect!

I got this similar to the extang full tilt, but a little less expensive than extang. Got it from crafteccovers.com They didn't have the 1966 listed on their site, but they have it if you ask. Great customer service:

I have electric bed covers on both my 06' and one of my 66'. They are aluminum tops that roll up into a small storage box at front of the bed.

Just need to give them the measurement at the inside rails at the top of the bed. Measure with the tail gate closed.
I didn't want another soft top after I the first one cut open by a thief. And I wanted it to roll up, out of the way so I could actually loan tall stuff back there if needed. Plus, I put lockable tail gate handles on.
Can't remember right off hand the name of the company, but as soon as I get home, I'll take a look.

Sorry I took so long getting back on the name of the electric hard cover.
Been very busy with work.

The name is Pace Edwards.
Just need to give them the measurement. Many beds are the same or close. If it's an odd size, they can make one up.
