Making selection on DPF Delete and Exhaust

I've been poking around alot making alot of phone calls spending alot of time looking on the internet.. I'm looking for the perfect setup. The setup is to make the truck possibly louder? DPF Delete poosibly? Downpipes? Turbo back pipes? ETC....? If anyone knows anything about making it louder let me know please thank you

If your looking to stay legal, leave the DPF on and get a banks monster dual exhaust. You tube has some video of it so you can see what to expect. I would not expect a huge increase in sound though, the dpf/doc takes away alot of the bark from these trucks. The main gain from a system like that is looks and a little extra sound.

It won't sound like a 15 year old Mack dump truck unless you really make some huge mods. Even then, I don't think you could even match an older Ram w/Cummins that has been straight piped. Those things really "fart" loud. The fuel injection and valve timing on the new diesels pretty much took all that sound away.

Is it something you'd spend the extra money on for an upgrade like that?

For a Spartan Tuner and a DPF delete yes...

The power and fuel economy you gain from it more than pay for the tuner afterawhile...

The 6.4s are, much stronger than the 6.0s overall and seem MUCH less prone to failure as Ford learned it's lesson and make big some improvements...

For the tuner, Spartan or SCT are the best two on the market. As far as exhaust goes, all you really need is the Flo Pro 837 which will delete the DPF and DOC. The rest of the stock exhaust is straight through. For maximum flow and sound though, you will want a full kit. I run the 4" Flo Pro straight piped kit on my personal truck and there is very little sound difference in the cab, but outside it sounds very aggressive. Let me know if theres anything I can help with.

I am very close to becoming "Spartanized". Anybody here run the 210 tow tune, DPF/CAT delete and tow a lot? I need to know what kind of MPG gains there are and would really appreciate anyone chiming in.

Sorry to hijack the thread but it saves me starting another one with the same title.
