I've got a 2002 Excursion 7.3 diesel. This summer I will be towing a toy hauler camping trailer cross country, over serious mountains, and through empty deserts. I will be towing about 10 thousand pounds when fully loaded, so I want have my excusion gone over very well by someone who knows the Excursion diesel well to make sure everything is in proper condition for doing this. Can anybody here recommend a good diesel shop or diesel mechanic in the area. As we are all very fond of our trucks, I want to take it to someone who knows what they're doing. Thanks.

got a mechanic friend from the P.f area ~will check with him in the next day or two to see who he would recommend -have known this guy for well over 20 years so I can get a straight answer for you ~~~
