someone help me identify part

hi , can anybody tell me what this part is , i have an 1989 f-250 reg cab 460 the part is mounted on driverside on frame in front of the font fuel tank on the truck frame and has fuel lines going in it and out of it in my repair manual it ssys it is a fuel resevior, im thinking it is a fuel pump , anymay the clear silicone gasket is allpushed out and is leaking fuel, is tis going to be expensive to have someone fix , thanks max

I think what you are looking at is the tank valve switch, and yes they leak when they go bad. Its been a while since I bought one, my guess $100 - $150 for the part

yes that is the part, the bottom half where it has a seem in the middle the clear silicone is pushed out and so now it is leaking fuel thank you for the link max

There should not be any silicone at that point.
There should be an "O" ring in the cup there.
Buy a fuel filter for a 1986 Bronco II and use the "O" ring gasket out of the box.
Discard the filter from the box.
The bottom unscrews so you can replace the "O" ring gasket.
