Looks great, I am getting close to paint and I also am going to have a red cab. I would be interested in knowing what paint and color you used, looks close to what I want. Aslo the picture doesn't show your interior very well. did you 2 tone the speaker grill and glove box. My shop looks somewhat different as well, looks like Santa was good to you.
Thanks

The truck was a good platform when I bought it for $3500. It had a mustang II conversion with a 8.8 mustang rear end. The power plant was a 3.8 Buick which is in the scrap pile now. I have a mule motor (5.0 302) to get the truck running while I build a 351 stroker or 302 stroker... I need gauge the 302 power in the truck....

Thanks, wheels look good. I have been struggling with wheels and powder coating steel wheels looks good with nice hub caps other than the stock wheels are narrow, what did you use. There are lots of different choices of red and once it is painted its too late so I want to be sure. I am also planning on black fenders but that may change. Looks like the perfect retirement project and you are about 6 months ahead of me.

Picked up the wheels up on ebay from summit racing... $49.00 for the 15 x 6s in the front and $56.00 for the 15 x8s in the rear... wheel vintiques is the company... very nice smooth wheels...got them gray because I knew I had to choose between black or red... I took the bold step of red... they use the 48-52 hubcap... Hope this helps!

From what I can see in the picture this rim won't accept the stock 48-52 hubcap. The rim looks like it has the outside nubs, the '48-52 caps need the rims with the inside nub. Am I seeing it correctly? There were some caps being made that look pretty close the originals that would snap on the outside nub rims, are those the type you're using?

A clean shop is a happy SAFE shop . Glad to see the dizzy up front on the engine or other wise I would have to say something negative and get hammered by other posters !!!!!! Really like your color scheme . I say you can not beat Red & Chrome . See 1ST-RIDE pics . Later,Denny
