Now for the cross member's
The cross member that use to saport the transmision, and transfer case is now just used for keeping the frame rail's tight, and straight.I started fabrication of the cross member, and I only have to add a couple of peic's of iron on botom to make it super stron. It had to have this drop becuase transmision is now back 7"-5/16 from it origanal location, and it make's the bottom of transmision fit in that droped area.

The mount for Aux. transmision had to be made becuase I wont use a GM part!!
The instruction's for the aux. transmision say to use a GM tranny mount, and im so diehard FORD I could NEVER put a GM part in my truck. So I made this block that has a GM mount bolt pattern, and on the other side of it has a Ford tranny mount pattern. The bolt's that hold Ford mount are welded in so I only need one wrench to take off in futur if I had to.

Something major I forgot about!!!!
Well after spending a bunch of time fabricating a crossmember as seen in above pic.'s,and installing it worked super, and I will have some pic.'s to share.I installed transfer case today, and like a dummy I totally forgot that the front driveshaft has to pass threw there, and now with it being 7"-5/16 moved back it hit's the cross member we made up.So im just going to take the member back out,and weld in a 5"X5" steel square into the member where the driveshaft will go threw. It will also act as a driveshaft saftey loop.I will post the pic.'s tomarow after I weld it up.Other then that the member we made the drop in fit's perfect with just the right amount of clearance for the bottom of tranny. Here is a couple of pic.'s with it installed with out the square for the front driveshaft to pass threw.

Update on OVERDRIVE!
Well it's all in,and driveshaft's bolted up.I had to stop install to do some side vehicle work to help pay for this project, but I was able to test that truck while pulling it out of the shop.I was not able to use that crossmeber we made, and I had to make a whole new one just back 7"5/16 back from oem member. With the oem member bolted in oem place it wouldn't let the driveshaft for the front pass threw. All I have left to do is bend a new shifter,Hook up a 3way toggle switch for shift motor, redo my exhuast.I have some sweet 3" chrome stack's that will go with the rest of the mini big rig truck look, and drive abilety.
