i spent all but the last 4 years of my life in ottumwa.just wondered if i knew any of you guys.

 

Born and raised in Ottumwa. Moved far, far away, but still drive there to work.
So, what made you move to Ottumwa?

You know that is funny. I was born and raised in WA. Kitsap county, then moved to Vancouver when I was 22, moved to Wyoming at 27 then later met a gal and moved to Iowa in 91. Been living in Chariton for almost the past 18yrs, which is only 44 miles away (originally moved to Story City for a couple months)

I managed the moving away part, just cant seem to find a better job than Deere, so I keep crawling back. I keep telling the wife we need to find jobs in the NW, but its hard to leave family.

 

What deere plant do you work for?

 

i know alot of people workin at deere you probably know a few.i moved cause i hated it there.so monsterbaby we kinda swapped eh?

 

There's only one Deere plant in Ottumwa. Hay & Forage. Only two reason I keep going there. Work and my grandparents.
