It's an Edelbrock 1406 that needs a rebuild. It's running to rich but that's down on the list of things to do right now. Trying to get the front end done first. I have never rebuilt a carb before and have been on the edelbrock website and they have "how to" video so I'm going to try and crack it. I just have to get a rebuild kit.

I've been up to Wendover a couple times. We go up to the bombing range there.

That's cool. I gave up carbs after getting my '96. Little more complicated but I like it. Plus it helps me get good gas mileage with my 460.

I wish it would warm up a little more. I have a glass etching to do on the outside of a door.

Maybe one day this week.

i've never been good with carburetors. but the edelbrocks are pretty simple to rebuild, its a souped up version of the weber, carter AVS. and the DIY videos are pretty informative.

I remember rebuilding carbs in an apartment on the living room floor.

I do think the videos are pretty good as I used the troubleshooting video to try and tune it. I just think it has been sitting to long and the excellerator pump is dried up. What's the worse thing that could happen? It won't run? The trouble will be trying to do it front of the computer which is in my office right off the bedroom. Wife will love the gas fumes!
