same with cars... some people will drive the same car they had when they first learned to drive... other trade them in every couple years...

I fall into the second group. I used to trade in almost yearly. I am getting a little better now.

Evenin guys.. I fall into that second group with the cars, 4 in 8 years. I think the truck will be my main vehicle for a while though, and when I get another car Ill probably still keep it. Its not costing me anything to keep the truck and I have it built just about exactly how I want it.

Hey Pete.

That's the way to do it. I think my problem is I'm kind of an impulse buyer when it comes to vehicles.

hey pete...

people i mean that the vehicles always costing them money.. im refering to the ones that trade in their vehicles before their fully paid off.. so that every time their traiding their cars in theyre constantly making car payment on them and yet never owning the title to them...

Pobably when you least expect it.

My dream car was a trans am. I saw was just wandering car lots one day and found one. Took it for a drive then did the paperwork not expecting anything to happen. I got a call the next day saying all was good to go.

When I bought my camero I saw it on the internet. It was about 4 hrs away. I thought it would be a good road trip so I went to look at it. I really had no plans to buy it. I fell in love at first sight and that was it. I even called my wife so she could talk me out of it.

I love my truck and don't think I would go back to a car as my main transportation.

i already have me a 1/2 ton... i find it slow and underpowered... gets what i need done - done... but i want something "stronger" and more powerful... hopefully quite a bit faster too... my lil truck does 0-60 in 30 seconds flat with the way its geared...

I will, but the truck will stay around for winters and carrying stuff. Won't be for a while though until I get a little more established.

As long as it does what you need. 30 seconds aint bad. I ended up getting a F350 because of the 5th wheel. My F250 with the 5.4 was just too under powered. While it wasn't a powerful engine it never gave up. Now having a diesel I don't think I would go back to a gas truck for pulling.

I went for a while without having a truck. It didn't take long to realize how much I used it as a truck.
