Woohoo! Looks like we're picking up the 6.0 from hartford truck equipment tomorrow afternoon. No more plowing snow on an OROPS tractor for me!

To those of you who complain about plowing snow with a truck: I'll gladly lend you my OROPS Ford 2120 4x4 w/loader on it so you can appreciate your truck more.

Got all the salt washed off my truck today. Now it's covered in ice but at least it's not covered in salt!

Plowing snow stinks with a truck or a tractor. Done both. I have to say the tractor did better donuts than the F350 dually.

pete- i would have to disagree with you. plowing with a tractor is unbeatable, even if it doesnt have a cab. trucks are terrible at plowing, unless of course you have a nice PTO powered snowblower....i had that pleasure once.

anybody doing anything fun tonight? i need to hunt for some food.....

When we get that rainy snowy crap and you've gotta push it off so it doesn't ice up I'll let you run the tractor then we'll talk about how great tractors are compared to trucks.

And I believe an X blade is only 4 or 5 hundred bucks more than an hd if you know where to shop.

Sometimes. I've got my own I just don't really ride too much any more. Don't have the time. Plus on the snowmobile I can can
pack it up and go home whenever I want. No obligation to be out in rainy crappy conditions. Clearing snow I'm obligated to be out there regardless of conditions to keep things from getting too bad.
