For power gains, Edge custom tuned by PHP.

Can't help you with disabling the safety features.

for power and maybe better fuel mileage, i would go with sct. I have had experience with sct products and they have never done me wrong. always got what i expected. sct is more involved with ford than any other company. plus they dont leave any trace behind if you re-install the factory tune for warranty purposes.

I don't think they're even working on an Edge for the 09's. The 10's have been out for a while now. I had an Edge on my 08, and it didn't do anything but change the shift points and firmness which was nice. Even on Level III. Didn't increase my times in 1/4 mile, or 0-60 at ALL.

SCT with custom tunes is the way I'd go for a Ford. Not sure what's offered for the new ones though. Have to check one of our site sponsors to find out.

Send your Edge to PHP and get it tuned.

Edge has delayed the release of the 09 to PHP until the release of the CS/CTS. Per PHP's forums, they will announce sometime in January.

May sound like a dumb question but does SCT stand for SuperChips Tuner? Just want to make sure.

No, SCT and Superchips are two different companies.
